Paula Pareto, Mariana Pajón y Yulimar Rojas son tres heroínas olímpicas que hablarán sobre cómo están sobreviviendo a esta pandemia, sus claves para alcanzar la cima en sus deportes y lo que hacen fuera del campo de juego para ayudar a otros que realmente las hace superhéroinas.

BOGOTÁ, Colombia, 20 de mayo de 2019.- Después de varias semanas brindando consejos y presentaciones de profesionales líderes y expertos en psicología, nutrición y entrenamiento físico directamente a sus hogares, la serie Expert Connection en el Canal de Panam Sports cambiará para permitir que algunos de los mejores atletas de las Américas compartan su vasta experiencia deportiva y cómo están manejando estos tiempos difíciles.

Esta semana, tres de las atletas más destacadas de todo el continente y del mundo en sus respectivas disciplinas se unirán al programa. Estas tres mujeres, a través de su increíble esfuerzo, pasión y profesionalismo, han logrado muchos de sus sueños y han alcanzado la cima del mundo del deporte.

No son otros que la judoca Paula Pareto de Argentina, la triple saltadora Yulimar Rojas de Venezuela y la especialista en BMX Mariana Pajón de Colombia.

Por primera vez en la historia, estas tres estrellas compartirán sus experiencias en una transmisión en vivo en el Canal Deportivo de Panam, especialmente en lo que respecta a cómo están llevando esta pandemia en América del Sur (Paula y Mariana) y en Europa (Yulimar). También proporcionarán recomendaciones sobre cómo lograr el éxito en el deporte y lo que hacen fuera de él, en sus iniciativas y proyectos sociales que ayudan a muchas personas y niños.

Especialista en Salto Triple de Venezuela, Yulimar es dos veces campeona del mundo al aire libre en Doha 2019 y Londres 2017, y dos veces campeona del mundo bajo techo en Portland 2016 y Birmingham 2018. Tiene el récord mundial bajo techo (15.43m). Medallista de plata de los Juegos Olímpicos de Río 2016 y campeona y poseedora del récord de los Juegos Panamericanos de Lima 2019. 

PAULA PARETO: «LA BATICHICA»

Paula es una Judoca argentina y también doctora de profesión. Es medallista de Oro de los Juegos Olímpicos de Río 2016 (Bronce en Beijing 2008), campeona del Mundo en Kazajstán 2015 y campeona de los Juegos Panamericanos de Guadalajara 2011, entre muchos otros grandes logros. Obtuvo su título en Traumatología de la Universidad de Buenos Aires y hasta el día de hoy continúa trabajando duro en la primera línea de trabajadores de la salud que luchan contra el coronavirus en su país.

MARIANA PAJON: «LA SUPER CHICA»

Mariana es una atleta colombiana especializada en carreras de BMX. Es dos veces campeona Olímpica en Londres 2012 y Río 2016, ocho veces campeona mundial y dos veces medallista de oro en los Juegos Panamericanos de Guadalajara 2011 y Lima 2019. Sin duda, es la atleta más exitosa y reconocida en Colombia.

SUPER HEROES: «THREE STORIES OF EFFORT, PASSION AND OLYMPIC SUCCESS» 

Three of the most outstanding athletes on the continent who have not only shone at the Olympic and world level on a track or a mat, but also with their efforts to improve the lives of others, will be the guests of honour on this week’s Expert Connection on the Panam Sports Channel. Paula Pareto, Mariana Pajon and Yulimar Rojas are three Olympic heroines who will talk about how they are surviving this pandemic, their keys to success to reach the top in their sports as well as what they do off the field of play to help others which truly makes them Super Heroes.

After several weeks bringing advice and presentations by leading professionals and experts in psychology, nutrition and physical training right to your homes, the Expert Connection series on the Panam Sports Channel will shift gears to allow some of the best athletes of the Americas to share their vast sports experience and how they are managing these difficult times.

A specialist in Triple Jump from Venezuela, Yulimar is a two-time Outdoor World Champion at Doha 2019 and London 2017, and two-time Indoor World Champion at Portland 2016 and Birmingham 2018. She holds the Indoor World Record (15.43m), is the Silver Medallist from the Rio 2016 Olympic Games and the Pan American Games Champion and Record-Holder from Lima 2019.

PAULA PARETO: “THE BAT-WOMAN”

Paula is an Argentinean athlete who specializes in Judo who is also a doctor by profession. She is the Gold Medallist at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games (Bronze in Beijing 2008), World Champion in Kazakhstan 2015 and Pan American Games Champion from Guadalajara 2011, among many other great achievements. She earned her degree as a Traumatologist from the University of Buenos Aires and to this day continues to work hard in the Front Line of healthcare workers fighting the Coronavirus in her country.

MARIANA PAJON: “SUPER WOMAN”

Mariana is a Colombian athlete specialized in BMX racing. She is a two-time Olympic Champion at London 2012 and Rio 2016, eight-time World Champion and two-time gold medallist at the Pan American Games of Guadalajara 2011 and Lima 2019. She is undoubtedly the most successful and recognized athlete in Colombia.
