MIAMI, United States, July 12, 2024. The good news for e-Sports keeps coming, today with an innovative alliance between the Pan American Electronic Sports Confederation (PAMESCO), an organization recognized for its leadership in the development and promotion of the eSports throughout America and the Americas Paralympic Committee (AmPC), a key entity in the region’s Paralympic movement,

This historic alliance, which aims to promote, encourage and provide an inclusive and accessible platform for Para athletes, also becomes the first of its kind, allowing adaptive athletes to demonstrate their skills in electronic sports and compete in an equal and motivating environment.

This joining of forces will focus on:

  1. Development of Adapted Competitions: Organization of tournaments and events specifically designed for Para athletes, offering a competitive and fair environment that allows them to stand out in electronic sports, opening a great possibility of entering the Parapan American sports cycle in the region.
  1. Accessibility and Resources: Provision of tools, technology and resources necessary for Para athletes to participate in eSports without barriers. This will include adapted devices and specialized software.
  1. Training and Education: Training and education programs for coaches and Para athletes, ensuring they have the necessary support to improve their skills and reach their full potential in eSports.
  1. Awareness and Sensitization: Campaigns to increase the visibility and understanding of adapted eSports, promoting inclusion and respect for athletes inside and outside the sports field.
  1. International Collaboration: Work together with international eSports and parasports organizations to promote the exchange of knowledge and best practices, promoting the development of adapted eSports at a global level.
