Asunción, Paraguay (March 3, 2025) — The ASU2025 Games Organizing Committee informs national and international media representatives about the system and dates for the Junior Pan American Games accreditation process, which will take place from August 9 to August 23. This event will bring together more than 4,000 athletes from 41 countries. Accreditation process Junior Pan American Games ASU2025 ACCREDITATION MANUAL FOR PRESS MEDIA PHASE 1 – PRESS BY MEDIA DATES: March 3 – April 28, 2025 Media organizations from the 41 participating countries must contact their respective National Olympic Committee (NOC) to express their interest in covering the event. They must register a representative, indicate the number of people they wish to accredit, specify their roles (E, EP, ENR), and provide their address, phone number, and email. In Paraguay, the accreditation process will be handled by the Organizing Committee. To request the «Press by Media» form, please email media@juegosasu.org.py. Media organizations not belonging to a participating country must also contact media@juegosasu.org.py Types of Press Accreditation CATEGORY E – JOURNALIST Roles: Journalist, editor, photo editor hired by a national or international news agency, a general daily newspaper, a sports newspaper, a magazine, a digital media outlet, or an independent journalist/freelancer under contract. CATEGORY EP – PHOTOGRAPHER Roles: Photographer, photography technician. Must meet the same criteria as Category E. CATEGORY ENR – NON-RIGHTS HOLDER MEDIA Member of a radio or television organization without broadcasting or retransmission rights. NOCs will handle the accreditation process for national agencies and freelancers. Meanwhile, ASU2025 will facilitate the accreditation process for global news agencies, media organizations from non-American countries, and other international press organizations. These entities must request the accreditation form at media@juegosasu.org.py. About the PHASE 2 – PRESS BY NAME DATES: April 28 – June 27, 2025 Each NOC is responsible for leading the entire process and entering the required information into the accreditation system for the press professionals in their respective country.
