LAUSANA, marzo de 2025 – Tras intensos meses de minuciosa selección de las postulaciones recibidas, nos complace anunciar que todas las listas de finalistas para la edición 2024 de los AIPS Sport Media Awards se publicarán en los próximos días.
De las 2065 postulaciones recibidas, de 133 nacionalidades, aproximadamente un tercio pasará a la segunda fase.
En esta primera fase, se emitieron más de 18.000 votos de los miembros del panel de mentores de la AIPS, del Comité Ejecutivo y del Jurado, un total de 40 profesionales de medios de comunicación de alto perfil de los cinco continentes.
Las listas de finalistas se anunciarán por categoría, tanto en www.aipsmedia.com como en www.aipsawards.com.
QUÉ SUCEDE A CONTINUACIÓN: La siguiente fase estará a cargo de los miembros del Comité Ejecutivo quienes seleccionarán las postulaciones para presentarlas al Jurado. El jurado realizará dos selecciones hasta declarar a los candidatos al podio, y la elección final de los ganadores se determinará un día antes de la ceremonia de premiación.
PRIMERA VEZ EN ÁFRICA: La ceremonia de los AIPS Sport Media Awards se celebrará en Rabat, Marruecos, durante el Congreso de la AIPS (del 13 al 16 de mayo). Será la primera vez que los Premios lleven su gala de premiación a África, tras haberse celebrado cuatro veces en Europa (Lausana 2019, Budapest 2020, Vigevano 2021 y Santa Susanna 2024) y dos veces en Asia: Doha 2022 y Seúl 2023.
MENCIONES ESPECIALES: Además de los ganadores, la ceremonia también revelará las Menciones Especiales para algunos de los trabajos destacados, independientemente de su posición final. Posteriormente, se publicarán las clasificaciones continentales para reconocer a los participantes con mejor desempeño en cada región.
