DEFINIDA LISTA LARGA DE LOS AIPS SPORTS MEDIA AWARDS 2021
LAUSANA, febrero de 2022 – Tras la conclusión de una intensa primera etapa de evaluación, AIPS está lista para presentar los finalistas de cada categoría de los AIPS Sport Media Awards 2021
Comenzando con la categoría de Fotografía (Acción Deportiva), el resto de listas largas se irán publicando en los próximos días.
Estas categorías son Fotografía (Portafolio), Prensa Escrita (Mejor Nota de Color y Mejor Columna), Video (Perfil del Atleta, Cortometraje y Documental), Audio y Jóvenes Reporteros (Redacción, Fotografía y Radiodifusión).
La cuarta edición de los prestigiosos premios, que recibió 1732 presentaciones de 133 países, muestra una creatividad y diversidad increíbles y envía un poderoso mensaje de esperanza frente a los desafíos, especialmente en medio de la pandemia de coronavirus.
CINCO ETAPAS DE VOTACIÓN La lista larga representa la primera etapa de evaluación. Aproximadamente el 20 por ciento de los trabajos califican para esta etapa. Aquí un recordatorio de las cinco etapas de evaluación:
Después de revisar cuidadosamente todas las presentaciones; revisando fechas, enlaces y archivos, el proceso de evaluación de los Premios comenzó en diciembre, involucrando a un panel de especialistas, miembros del Comité Ejecutivo y miembros del Jurado, cuyas calificaciones promedio dan como resultado las listas largas.
La segunda etapa de votación, que es realizada exclusivamente por los miembros del Comité Ejecutivo (que representan a 24 naciones diferentes), reducirá los trabajos seleccionados a una nueva lista de candidatos.
Las etapas tres y cuatro de votación las lleva a cabo el Jurado, compuesto por 12 respetados miembros de la industria de los medios deportivos que representan a los cinco continentes, que primero seleccionan a los 10 finalistas y luego a los 3 primeros.
Finalmente, un día antes de la ceremonia, que se realizará en Europa en mayo de 2022 (fecha y lugar por confirmar según la evolución de la pandemia), tendrá lugar una última fase de votación y los resultados permanecerán en secreto hasta la ceremonia.

AIPS Sport Media Awards 2021 longlist announcement
LAUSANNE, February 1, 2022 – Following the conclusion of an intense first stage of judging, AIPS is ready to present the longlists for each category of the AIPS Sport Media Awards 2021.
Starting today from Photography (Sport Action), the remaining longlists will be published over the next days.
These categories are Photography (Portfolio), Writing (Best Colour Piece and Best Column), Video (Athlete Profile, Short Feature and Documentary), Audio, Young Reporters (Writing, Photography and Broadcasting).
The fourth edition of the prestigious Awards, which received 1732 submissions from 133 different countries, shows incredible creativity and diversity and sends across a powerful message of hope in the face of challenges, especially amid the coronavirus pandemic.
FIVE VOTING STAGES The longlist represents the first stage of judging. Approximately 20 percent of the works qualify to this stage. Here is a reminder of the five judging stages:
After carefully reviewing all submissions; checking dates, links and files, the Awards judging process began in December, involving a panel of specialists, EC members and Jury members, whose average ratings result in the longlists.
The second voting stage, which is exclusively carried out by the EC members (representing 24 different nations), will narrow down the selected works into a shortlist of candidates.
The third and fourth voting stages are carried out by the Jury –12 respected members from the sport media industry representing the five continents– as they first select the top 10 and then the top 3.
Finally, one day before the ceremony, which will take place in Europe in May 2022 (date and location to be confirmed following the evolution of the pandemic), a final voting stage takes place and the results remain secret until the announcement.
