BOGOTÁ, Colombia, 21 de septiembre de 2017.- La Federación Colombiana de Patinaje anunció que Nataly Otálora, Viviana Osorio, Brayan Carreño y Jairo Ortiz, son los atletas que conformarán la Selección Colombia de Patinaje Artístico que estará representando al país en los Juegos Bolivarianos, Santa Marta 2017 que se llevarán a cabo del 11 al 25 de noviembre.

Los patinadores fueron elegidos según lo establece el reglamento de los Juegos Bolivarianos, 2 hombres y 2 mujeres y teniendo en cuenta el criterio técnico y los resultados obtenidos en el pasado Campeonato Mundial de patinaje de la categoría que se realizó en Nanjing, China, los deportistas participarán en las modalidades de libre individual y danza.
El juvenil Brayan Carreño se perfila como el patinador artístico más destacado del país, teniendo en cuenta que durante los I World Roller Games de Nanjing, China logró la medalla de oro en la modalidad de danza y la de plata en figuras obligatorias.
Viviana Osorio, quien ostenta 1 medalla de plata y 3 de bronce en campeonatos mundiales, en la modalidad de danza, llegará a la cita Bolivariana luego de ubicarse en la quinta posición el reciente Mundial de Nanjing.
Por otra parte la experimentada Nataly Otálora y el juvenil Jairo Ortiz, estarán participando en la modalidad de libre, su más reciente participación fue en el Mundial de Nanjing donde Nataly Otálora terminó en la novena posición y Jairo Ortiz en la sexta en las categorías senior y júnior respectivamente.
El Patinaje Artístico de los Juegos Bolivarianos 2017 se realizará el 11 y 12 de noviembre en el Coliseo del Colegio Coedumag de la ciudad de Santa Marta.

Bolivarian games 2017: Skating, Colombia defined the artistic team

BOGOTÁ, Colombia, September 21th 2017. The Colombian Skating Federation announced that Nataly Otálora, Viviana Osorio, Brayan Carreño and Jairo Ortiz, are the athletes who will represent the country at the Artistic Skating competitions during the Bolivarian Games, Santa Marta 2017 to be held from 11th to 25th November.
The skaters were chosen according to the regulations of the Bolivarian Games, 2 men and 2 women and taking into account the technical criteria and the results obtained in the past Artistic Skating World Championship, Nanjing, China, the athletes will participate in free individual and dance events .

Brayan Carreño a young athlete emerges as the country’s most outstanding Artistic Skater, taking into account that during the I World Roller Games in Nanjing, China he won the gold medal in dance and the silver in compulsory figures.
Viviana Osorio, who holds a silver and bronze medal in the World Championships in dance, will arrive at the Bolivarian Games, after finishing fifth in the recent World Championship in Nanjing.
On the other hand the experienced Nataly Otálora and the young Jairo Ortiz, will be participating in the Free Skating Events, their most recent participation was during the World Championship, Nanjing where Nataly Otálora finished in the ninth position and Jairo Ortiz in the sixth in senior and young categories respectively.
The Artistic Skating of the 2017 Bolivarian Games will be held on November 11th and 12th at the Coedumag Coliseum in the city of Santa Marta.
