Muenchen (dpa) – Audi is to start its first deliveries of its
restyled A3 in mid July, offering four models – three-door and
five-door hatchbacks, a notchback sedan and a cabriolet.

Prices for this compact counterpart to the VW Golf start at 23,300
euros (26,000 dollars) for the standard petrol-powered model with an
output of 115 horsepower (hp), while Audi plans to roll out the
1-litre three-cylinder for the A3 in this pricing range later in the
summer.

Under the bonnet, Audi A3 models range from a new petrol-powered
motor with 115 hp to an improved S3 with 310 hp, with three more
diesels and a 2-litre petrol motor in between.

Audi is also offering the A3 as a G-Tron, running on compressed
natural gas (CNG), as well as a plug-in hybrid E-Tron.

All models have new headlights, larger air intakes and a modified
diffuser, while on the interior, customers can now have the option of
a digital cockpit.

Several additions have also been made to the car’s driver assistance
system, including new functions for steering and driving in traffic
jams.
