Dusseldorf (dpa) – Bayer Leverkusen have signed Austria international Julian Baumgartlinger from fellow Bundesliga club Mainz.
The midfielder, who captained Mainz, has agreed a contract until the end of June 2020, Leverkusen said Thursday.
Leverkusen are believed to have paid a fee of 4 million euros (about
4.5 million dollars) for the 28-year-old, who joined Mainz in 2011 from Austria Vienna.
