Stuttgart, Germany (dpa) – Relegated Bundesliga side VfB Stuttgart have appointed former Hertha Berlin coach Jos Luhukay and parted company with sports director Robin Dutt, the club said Tuesday.
Dutt, 51, leaves the club «by mutual agreement» after the side’s first relegation from the top flight for 41 years.
Dutch coach Luhukay, who has led Hertha, Borussia Moenchengladbach and Augsburg to promotion from the second division, has agreed a two-year contract.
Luhukay was Hertha coach from May 2012 until his dismissal in February 2015. He succeeds Juergen Kramny, whose contract as Stuttgart first-team coach ended with relegation.
