Berlin (dpa) – Michael Schumacher’s son, Mick Schumacher, has clear aims in his developing motorsport career but will be not be rushed to success.
«For the moment, my goal is to become a good and complete race driver. This means taking one step after another, working hard on myself and always giving my best,» he said on his homepage which was activated Wednesday.
«It’s important to me to have a solid base and to become confident in all areas racing will be confronting me with. Exactly for this reason I will not be rushed and will not only have an eye for the quick results, instead I will be working on myself constantly and focused.»

He will race at the Italian season-opener Misano on the weekend and a week later on the German track in Oschersleben where he claimed his lone 2015 win.
«I can’t think of anything better than to be on the racetrack, aiming for the perfect lap and always trying to improve my performance. I am willing to work hard on myself because I know, this is the only way to fulfill your own dreams,» he said.
Schumacher may end up in Formula One at some stage, the series his father dominated with a record seven world titles and an unprecedented 91 race wins.
